  • Mission

Our mission is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.

    About Us

We’ve transformed how the world treats and talks about this disease and have mobilized the largest and most passionate community. Since 1982, we’ve funded about $1.1 billion in research, more than $2.2 billion in education, screening and treatment, serving millions in over 60 countries worldwide. The slate of research projects that were approved by Susan G. Komen’s National Board of Directors for funding in the recent past years are listed here.
