    About Us

    MAAC Project has a food distribution in Chula Vista every month.

    We are in need of hands on volunteers to distribute food to community members during our scheduled monthly food distributions.

    Our next food distribution will be November 12th and will happen every month

    MAAC Food Distribution

    Date/Time: Thursday, November 12th, 7-11 AM

    Location: MAAC, 1355 Third Avenue, Chula Vista, 91911

    Check-in Time: 7 AM, coffee and pastries will be provided

    Anticipated Completion Time: 11 AM

    Example event flow:

    7:00-7:15 AM Check-in and temperature check

    7:15-7:45 AM Set-up

    7:45-8:00 AM Mini-training if you've been assigned specific duties

    8:00-10:30 AM Drive-thru distribution

    10:30-11:00 AM Break-down

    *Group photos are suggested during check-in or following set-up

    *Most volunteers contribute to the "assembly line"; we each put 1 to 2 food items directly into the trunk of a vehicle or a box
