  • Mission

The National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (NNIRR) works to defend and expand the rights of all immigrants and refugees, regardless of immigration status. Since its founding in 1986, the organization has drawn membership from diverse immigrant communities, and actively builds alliances with social and economic justice partners around the country. As part of a global movement for social and economic justice, NNIRR is committed to human rights as essential to securing healthy, safe and peaceful lives for all.

    About Us

Through education, advocacy and active movement building, NNIRR lifts up the human rights, respect and dignity of migrants and refugees. NNIRR is a critical voice and organizer in the global migrant rights movement, helping to project migrant voices to advance the human rights of migrants worldwide, and playing an active role in international advocacy, particularly in the rights of migrant women and rights at international borders. NNIRR challenges the economic, social and environmental contexts that are direct causal factors of forced migration all over the world.
