About Us

CSC was founded in 1977 by Chinese Community Church to provide essential health and human social services to the Asian immigrant community in the DC metropolitan area. CSC operates weekday services to answer inquires and referrals to appropriate social and government agencies for health care, immigration, public assistance, job employment, education, housing, tax, and family matters. Workshops are conducted with community, social service and government agencies for informing and instructing Asian immigrant clients of relevant issues. English as a second language and citizenship classes are conducted Wednesdays and Saturdays. By providing social services, Asian immigrants can assimilate to their new life in America and become good and productive citizens.
