Our Mission
At Black History Day LBG, we are driven by a single goal: to celebrate and honor the significant contributions of Black individuals throughout history, and to enlighten the world about the profound impacts they have made. We strive to dismantle stereotypes and misconceptions about Black people by showcasing their achievements and fostering an understanding that transcends all racial boundaries.
Our Vision
Founded and incorporated in the Republic of Ghana, under the registration number CG025170424, Black History Day LBG envisions a world where the rich history and achievements of Black people are recognized, respected, and celebrated. Our vision is to create a global community that appreciates and acknowledges the diversity and dynamism of Black heritage.
Our Founder
Clement Addo Owusu, a Ghanaian software engineer with a deep passion for history, established Black History Day LBG. Experiencing and recognizing the global disparities and stereotypes faced by people of African descent, Clement was motivated to challenge these misconceptions by illuminating the historical and ongoing contributions of Black people. His dedication to history and commitment to social equality are the bedrocks upon which our organization is built.
Our Activities
Through our website, https://blackhistoryday.com, we engage with a global audience to share stories, facts, and achievements of Black people that are often overlooked or unknown. Our content aims not only to educate but also to inspire and uplift, providing a more comprehensive view of Black history that includes both past and contemporary achievements.
