Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS
GYCA is a global network of more than 7000 young leaders and adult allies who are working together in over 170 countries to develop creative, community-driven responses to the AIDS epidemic. GYCA’s mission is to ensure that young leaders and advocates have the knowledge, skills, information, and opportunities they need to be powerful catalysts of change in their communities. We accomplish this goal by focusing on capacity building, advocacy, and the sharing of information and best practices through our global network.GYCA is a program of the Public Health Institute, and is based in Brooklyn, NY. GYCA is funded by the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and the Government of the Netherlands.
