Valley Forge Educational Services (VFES) offers a wide variety of educational services focused on guiding children and young adults to independence. VFES provides school and summer programs, transition skills programming and clinical-consultation services for children and young adults, 4–21 years of age, with special needs and learning challenges. Through its programs—The Luma Center, Summer Matters, The Vanguard School and Vanguard Transition Center—VFES offers direct services to young people as well as professional development and support to families, schools and community organizations. For more than 50 years, VFES has been dedicated to improving special education through innovative programs and research-based practices.
