About Us
Family Promise is the only organization in Bergen County dedicated to providing shelter and services to working families who become homeless. Since 1986, we have sheltered thousands of adults and children, adapting to their changing needs by creating programs to help them become self-sufficient. Our network of sheltering congregations and transitional apartments provide stability while the families receive intensive individual case management to help them realize their goal of true independence.
