Yoga Foundation of Fredericksburg

Yoga Foundation of Fredericksburg (YOFO) is a nonprofit yoga studio based in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. We offer donation-based classes ($10 suggested donation) at our Franklin Street studio and at various area venues. Your donations help YOFO fund 40-50 free yoga classes every month for underserved groups and individuals in our community, with a special emphasis on children and families and those with special needs. We believe that yoga can be transformational-helping create connections and balance between mind, body, and breath: healing and strengthening individuals, and spreading peace through the community one pose at a time.

YOFO’s goal is to create an atmosphere that is abundant in acceptance and inclusiveness. This acceptance is to promote a safe space where all are welcome to a peaceful practice and peace of mind. YOFO values the members of our community regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, financial status, and age. We strive to be an example of equality and fairness in our studio and throughout our outreach in the Fredericksburg community.
