The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN), a non-profit primary care organization whose mission is to advance the health center movement. We are committed to enhancing and expanding access to quality, community-responsive healthcare for all Nebraskans. Members of HCAN are Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), also known as community health centers, that provide medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy and enabling services to over 113,000 Nebraskans. HCAN was established in 2011 and is funded primarily through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
