  • Mission

Our mission is to strengthen individuals and our community with our free Karate classes, volunteer group "Community Warriors", and community outreach.

    About Us

Delta Kai Martial Arts and Fitness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donation-based organization dedicated to building stronger individuals and communities through martial arts, fitness, and service.

Founded by lifelong martial artist and certified fitness professional Tommy Draeger, Delta Kai offers free classes for ages 4-7 (Little Kids Class) and 8+ (Youth & Adult Program), currently held at Prince of Peace Church in Spring Lake Park, MN.

Our mission stands on three pillars:

1️⃣ Free Martial Arts & Fitness Classes - No tuition, just accessible training focused on wellness, discipline, and confidence.

2️⃣ Community Warriors Program - All students pledge to volunteer through partnerships with groups like Feed My Starving Children, People Serving People, and local events.

3️⃣ Outreach-Based Karate - We offer workshops for seniors, mental health recovery centers, and underserved communities, using martial arts for mobility, wellness, and empowerment.

    Recent Achievements:

✅ Partnered with Gifts for Seniors to deliver Valentine’s Day cards to isolated seniors in the Twin Cities.

✅ Featured in Fridley’s upcoming community newsletter.

✅ Active outreach with Twin Cities Wellness Recovery Gym.

We're seeking volunteers to help lead service events, grow outreach, and join our volunteer committee or board.

Delta Kai is more than a dojo-it’s a movement. Join us.
