    The Alliance Française has a rich history, beginning in Paris with Louis Pasteur and Jules Verne and growing to include over 800 chapters in 137 countries. The Denver chapter, founded in 1897, is one of the oldest nonprofits in the area. Our mission is to encourage the study of French cultures and language and to foster cultural, intellectual, artistic, and friendly exchanges between the French-speaking world and our local community.
