GRACE Grows

GRACE Grows is dedicated to empowering individuals experiencing homelessness through community development, horticultural therapy, and education. We are a therapeutic community and food garden for people experiencing homelessness. We do three main things things for the sake of empowerment of individuals who are un-housed. First, we grow food with and for people who are served by GRACE Marketplace's shelter kitchen, Cafe 131. Cafe 131 serves approximately 400 meals a day. Secondly, we provide vocational training in horticulture in order to increase employment opportunities. Lastly, we have a community education garden where volunteers, and guests of GRACE Marketplace and Dignity Village can connect with nature, interact in a positive social environment, learn about agriculture, and practice self-care.
