Handala Center, al-Azza Camp

Handala Center offers art education and activities for Palestinian refugee children in al- Azza Camp. It is the only Children Center in the camp.Art matters. Art can change your life. Art can bring about positive change in individuals and societies as a whole. A pen is more powerful than a sword: Through artistic expression negative and positive feelings can be channeled in nuanced, fruitful dialogues with oneself, with others, with the camp and with society. Our mission is to empower a young generation of Palestinian refugee children to choose which ever artistic outlet best suits them and then make the most out of it.
