  • Mission

The mission of CASA Guadalupana is to offer a welcoming place that affirms the dignity of each person. We provide a safe and supportive home to achieve safety and stability for individuals and families - especially women and children - going through the asylum process.

    About Us

Founded in 2003 as a Catholic Worker House in the tradition of Dorothy Day, Casa provided housing and a variety of support, education and acculturation services to primarily women and children emigrating from Latin America. In February 2019, after a period of discernment and renovations to the home, Casa launched an effort to provide temporary housing for refugee/immigrant individuals and families who have applied for and are working through the Asylum process. Persons working through the process are living under numerous restrictions, including work and health care. Our residents receive legal assistance through the Advocates for Human Rights, the Immigration Law Center and other Immigration attorneys. We continue to need financial support and have a web site but are in desperate need of a volunteer to help further develop and maintain the site.
