About Us
The Hadassah Foundation invests in social change organizations that empower women and girls in Israel and the United States. As one of the largest Jewish women’s funds in the United States, The Hadassah Foundation has awarded $10.5 million in grants to over 110 non-profit organizations since its founding in 1998. Established by Hadassah: Women’s Zionist Organization of America (HWZOA), the Hadassah Foundation is supporting organization of HWZOA that was started with the goal of refocusing the priorities of the Jewish community through innovative and creative funding to improve gender equality in the United States and Israel.
