Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Catholic Charities of Yolo-Solano commits to serve vulnerable individuals of all faiths and backgrounds and to work for a just society. 

Our Work

Charities of Yolo-Solano (CCYS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving the people of Yolo and Solano Counties. The agency is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to serve the poor, the elderly, the needy, the oppressed, the vulnerable, the immigrant and those in spiritual or material need.

Inspired by the rich tradition of the Seven Principles of Catholic Social Teaching, with a special commitment or “option to serve the poor", we work for a just, compassionate society that supports the dignity of all individuals and families, reduces the causes and results of poverty, and strives to build healthy communities through social service programs. Catholic Charities of Yolo-Solano provides services without regard to race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical disability, marital status, national origin, or age.
