  • About Us

The Granite State Children's Alliance (GSCA) is a non-profit 501(c3) organization operating Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) in Keene (Monadnock Region CAC), Manchester/Nashua (Hillsborough County CAC North/South), and Laconia (Greater Lakes CAC). GSCA also provides training, technical assistance, and statewide representation to the network of eleven nationally accredited CACs in NH. Our mission is to provide all victims of child abuse a neutral environment where justice, healing, equity, and prevention are fostered through consistent, high quality, and sustaining collaboration of community partners.

CACs support an evidenced-based approach by providing a safe, child/family-friendly, victim-centered, neutral setting for joint investigations and forensic interviews of child victims of crime (ages 3-17) involving sexual abuse (76%), felony-level physical abuse (15%), and child witnesses to violence such as a homicide or a serious domestic assault (9%).  CACs in NH provide forensic interviews, family support, and follow-up services to approximately 2,100 child victims and their families; 27% of these child victims are not old enough to attend the first grade.
