    About Us

Founded as Wake County's first multi-racial daycare, Method Child Development Center began with 17 children in the Method community through the Raleigh Inter-Church Housing Corporation (RICH).

Our commitment to serving children from all socioeconomic backgrounds continues today as we operate as a 5-star rated center at 900 Trailwood Drive in Raleigh, where we relocated in 2004.

We serve children from infancy through school age across five classrooms, with each child taught at their own developmental level. Our learning environments include dedicated spaces for art, blocks, dramatic play, manipulatives, science, sensory activities, and reading.

Daily programming features music and physical activities, supplemented by visiting theater productions, sports lessons, artists, and musicians. Three to five-year-olds also receive foreign language instruction.

Our teachers establish weekly classroom goals incorporating thematic learning, academic concepts, and developmental milestones, while also creating individualized objectives for each child.

Method's 5-star rating reflects our staff's dedication to exceptional early childhood education in a diverse, inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
