    To provide Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services to those in need via 911 dispatch system. To protect life and property, by well trained Fire and EMS Volunteers, supported by Administrative Volunteers. All training and equipment is provided free of charge.

    About Us

    The Marlboro Volunteer Fire Department is located in the county seat of Prince George's County Maryland. We are dispatched via 911 to fire, rescue and Emergency medical calls. We operate an Engine Company, Heavy Rescue Squad, Tower, Brush Truck, and Basic life Support Ambulance. All training and equipment is provided free of charge. We are supportred by a volunteer administrative personnel who handle such duties computer support, grant work, handle hall rentals including set up and clean up, fund raising, christmas tree sales, and more. We have recently started a cadet program for youths ages 12 to 15 to receive fire and EMS training but they do not respond to calls. As a vaolunteer there is camradarie, tax benefits, annual conventions in Prince Georges County and Ocean city Maryland, parades, firefighter competitions, and an annual company banquet, Volunteer Length of Service Award Program retirement fo those serving 25 years.
