The San Diego History Center tells the diverse story of our region - past, present and future - educating and enriching our community, preserving our history and fostering civic pride.
About Us
The San Diego History Center operates a museum in Balboa Park as well as the Junipero Serra Museum in Presidio Park. In addition, our Research Library and extensive photograph collection and document archives are a great place for our neighbors to learn more about their community.
Through events, exhibitions and education, the San Diego History Center is able to fulfill its mission to share our community's great history and volunteers help to make this possible. Thank you for considering becoming a volunteer at SDHC!
