Seattle ICO

To promote and develop greater understanding of other cultures, foster respect of self and others, and provide leadership skills, and to protect and appreciate all wilderness through outdoor exploration, education, sharing and spiritual growth.

Inspiring Connections Outdoors (ICO) is a community outreach program of the Sierra Club that provides low-income, inner city youth with trips to wilderness. Our dedicated core of volunteer leaders works with Seattle schools and social service agencies to provide wilderness experiences for people who otherwise might not have them.
