  • Mission

    The Corporation is organized for the following purposes:

    1.) To preserve New Jersey's shipwreck and Maritime history

    2.) To research and record the many unknown, lost and misnamed shipwrecks, as well as other potentially historically significant sites.

    3.) To document findings and present these findings to the public by means of exhibits, lectures, video presentations and printed publications.

    About Us

    NJHDA has established a New Jersey shipwreck history museum in Wall, New Jersey. The museum is situated at the Information Age Science/History Center (InfoAge), in the site's signature building, the Marconi Hotel completed in 1914. Volunteers are actively renovating and restoring its interior. It is in this building that NJHDA has set up a model museum.
