PROJECT HEALTHY COMMUNITY

  • Mission

Project Healthy Community is a multi-cultural, interfaith, inter-community partnership non-profit social enterprise whose mission is to promote the well-being of persons of all ages within communities in-need in Southeast Michigan with an emphasis on nutrition and education for children.

    About Us

Project Healthy Community runs and partners on a variety of programs intended to create a happy, healthier, more literate population in Southeastern Michigan. Many of our programs are centered in Northwest Detroit. We run an after school program and a nutritional education program at Schulze Academy and also have a mobile pantry and urban garden at the Northwest Activities Center. We have and continue to partner on events like Higher Hopes' Thanksgiving meal distribution, school makeover days, coat and winter clothes distributions, and canned food drives.
