Izaak Walton League, Cincinnati chapter

  • Mission

The Cincinnati chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America fosters conservation and envirommental awareness through community, education and fun. We also run Saturday Stream Snapshot, a volunteer stream sampling program to help protect the Little Miami River.

    About Us

Known affectionately as "Ike's," we're located in Loveland, Ohio. Our 7-acre grounds are nestled between the Little Miami River and the popular Little Miami Scenic Trail. Our 100+ members meet monthly and enjoy camping, biking, canoeing & kayaking, stream sampling and attending fun events at our lodge throughout the year. Our website is Cinci-IWLA.org.

Our award-winning steam monitoring program, Saturday Stream Snapshot, is always on the lookout for stream samplers and lab volunteers. Just a few hours each month, volunteering is a fun and easy way to help protect the Little Miami River. Check us out at SaturdayStreamSnapshot.org!
