Friends of the Center for Families

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2013 run entirely by volunteers. We are parents and community members committed to making sure that all families in Cambridge with young children can continue to be supported through Center for Families. We raise money for and awareness about the Center for Families mission. We meet periodically to come up with fun fundraising events. We also offer childcare during meetings.

We’re in a period of transition and looking for eager, motivated volunteers to shape the future of our organization! We are looking generally for people who want to share their insights and creativity, or who want to be involved in a small nonprofit. We are also inviting those with experience or interest in strategic planning, treasury, fundraising, and staff development with a focus in child development, family support and social emotional trauma
