About Us

Mission: To build or renovate shelters for temporarily homeless men, women and children across the nation to those who may have suffered from a catastrophic illness or an accident, the loss of a job, the death or desertion of a spouse or parent, an addiction or domestic violence. The goal of the shelters is to enable homeless people to gain the skills they need to achieve self-sufficiency. Our vision is to inspire a national movement that galvanizes diverse resources to transform America’s homeless crisis.

HomeAid America is a non-profit organization supported entirely by donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. The organization has galvanized $35 million and 30,000 volunteers to help more 15,000 temporarily homeless men, women and children. 60 shelters have been built to date and an additional 20 are now underway. We now have 14 active chapters in Arizona, Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Northern California, Northern Virginia, Orange County, Los Angeles and Ventura, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino County and Seattle. Our goal is to establish a HomeAid chapter in strategic cities throughout the United States.
