The Mount St. Helens Institute brings the experience of this active volcano to visitors and science enthusiasts. The mission is to awaken in people of all ages an appreciation of the natural processes and cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest's volcanic landscapes. Programs are science learning and conservation focused with many volunteer opportunities.
