  • About Us

IHN is a program that works in partnership with the faith community to provide shelter, meals and comprehensive support to families with children who are homeless. Since its inception in November of 1997, religious congregations have provided the overnight shelter for our families, while congregation members provide home-cooked meals, support and hospitality to their guests. IHN serves families that are not eligible for state-funded shelter. We accept families regardless of their income or family structure as long as there is at least one child under 18.
