As a nonprofit artisan marketplace committed to social transparency, Joffa prioritizes the person behind every product—bridging the gap between maker and buyer. We connect socially-conscious shoppers to communities in need through a curated selection of high-quality, ethically-made goods.

Purchases of our unique, artisan-made jewelry, bags, and decor provide:

• Education & skill development to the under-resourced

Empowerment is the core of our mission. We empower sustainable fair trade retailers worldwide by purchasing their goods. These retailers empower their makers with job skills, fair wages, and holistic care, which empowers them to pour into their own communities.

We are striving to utilize the underutilized, and give hope to the hopeless.

Our founder and executive director lived in Cairo, Egypt for seven years with his family in the early 2000s. It was during this time that he regularly encountered small manufacturing businesses dedicated to making a positive economic impact in their under-resourced communities. They were committed to the betterment of their communities but lacked the support to grow their sales and impact.

Out of this need, we built Joffa, an e-commerce platform empowering makers from around the world.

We exist to help our partners scale their businesses to scale their impact. Each partner has been vetted to ensure they are committed to having a positive economic and social impact in their community. Currently our vibrant community boasts 67 partners.

By providing dignified employment to those who need it most, our partners are bringing about significant changes in the economic circumstances of individuals, families, and communities.

Our partners are addressing critical social issues such as human trafficking, poverty, domestic abuse, education, skill development, homelessness, and community advancement.

Joffa's chain of impact and empowerment starts in Memphis, TN. From our brand HQ and fulfillment center located right in Memphis' historic Broad Avenue Arts District, we are working to extend this chain across every continent!
