Hollywood HEART
Mission
Founded in 1995, Hollywood HEART is a Los Angeles based non-profit organization that provides hope, education, arts, recreation, and teamwork to at-risk youth through independent projects like Camp Pacific Heartland and The Movie Team. Hollywood HEART children are chosen without regard to race, gender, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or cause of HIV infection. The organization functions with a database containing more than 3000 constituents, and the combined forces of its board of directors and volunteers generate creative outlets for Southern California's at-risk youth.
About Us
Hollywood HEART is a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that provides hope, education, arts, recreation, and teamwork to at-risk youth through programs: CAMP PACIFIC HEARTLAND, a summer camp program for children infected and affected by HIV and AIDS; and THE MOVIE TEAM, a unique filmmaking workshop that utilizes the film industry background of its founders and board members to give children the opportunity to write, direct, produce and star in their very own short films.
