At OWL Outdoors, we believe in the transformative power of nature. Our mission is to empower children, veterans, and families to connect with the outdoors through education, wellness programs, and environmental stewardship.

Founded in 2018 by a family committed to wellness and environmental education, OWL has grown into a dynamic nonprofit offering youth enrichment programs, mental wellness initiatives, veteran support, and community conservation efforts. What began as a family-led initiative has become a force for positive change, fostering harmony between people and the environment through education and community partnerships. Our work is dedicated to building a greener, sustainable future—a legacy of wellness and stewardship for generations to come.

OWL’s operations are primarily supported by the personal financial contributions of its founders and the incredible dedication of our volunteers. For specific projects and programs, we seek grant funding to enhance our impact and extend our reach. Your support—whether through donations, volunteering, or partnerships—helps us fulfill our mission to educate and empower communities through environmental stewardship and outdoor experiences.

Most recently, our efforts have expanded to emergency relief and disaster response in Western North Carolina, where we assist communities in rebuilding after natural disasters like Hurricane Helene.
