    The Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation is a national nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Our vision is to eliminate preventable death and disability from sudden cardiac arrest and support people affected by SCA. Our mission is to raise public awareness of SCA and promote initiatives that help save lives through education, research, and community.

    About Us

    Our primary strategies for achieving our mission are:

    1. Education: Our goal is to triple survival rates by arming the public with information that will help saves lives.
    2. Research: We conduct research to determine public understanding of SCA and messaging that resonates with the public. We collaborate with hospitals and universities on research to better understand the impact of SCA on the quality of life for both patients and their families and to develop support resources.
    3. Community: We work with thousands of families impacted by SCA and provide community resources that are vital to survival-including automated external defibrillator (AED) donations
