  • Mission

Building resilience, better mental health in adolescents and their surrounding communities through education, awareness, and sponsoring research for the diagnosis, treatment modalities of adolescent mental health.

    About Us

Shiv's Third Eye was born out of love and loss in memory of Shiv, a bright, sensitive, young soul who lost his battle with mental illness (Major Depressive Disorder) to suicide. His story is a powerful reminder of why conversations around mental health—especially for young people—cannot wait.

Our mission is simple yet urgent: to create a world where mental well-being is valued as deeply as physical health, and where children feel safe, seen, and accepted for who they are. Through awareness, education, and advocacy, we break down stigma around mental illness and LGBTQ+ identity, while building compassionate spaces for families, schools, and communities.

    We host three annual initiatives

    1. Pride Picnic - a celebration of diversity, identity, belonging and acceptance/normalization for everyone in a community setting
    2. Youth Mental Wellness Fair - bringing together providers, resources, and panels to empower families.
    3. MindSpeak Essay Competition - giving students a voice, a platform to share their perspectives on mental health.

For us, this work is not only about prevention—it’s about cultivating compassion, resilience, and hope. We imagine a future where no family has to endure the silence of stigma, and every child feels the freedom to thrive.

Shiv’s legacy lives on through every conversation sparked, every young person uplifted, and every barrier to mental health support that is broken.
