About Us
FOCUS is an offender reentry mentoring program, working to reduce recidivism and enhance community safety. It is committed to assisting the offenders enrolled in its program to first stabilize their lives on release from jail and then to help them achieve self-suffiency. To this end FOCUS enrolls, trains, and supports volunteer mentors. The consistent presence of a friendly concerned mentor, with no agenda, has great impact on a person in chaos and despair.
