  • About Us

The National Performing Arts Funding Exchange — NPAFE — is the country’s only nonprofit focused on drawing in sustained direct corporate sponsorships for the Performing Arts. NPAFE is a 501 c 3 LLC organized and registered in Washington D.C.

Arranging direct corporate sponsorships is the single best way to overcome the ever-shrinking pool of individual donations and government or foundation grants that traditionally have been the primary funding source for the Performing Arts.

    This is our mission.

TO ADVANCE THE PERFORMING ARTS by building Business Community – Performing Arts partnerships that endow performing arts creativity for the long haul.

TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF FUNDING available to support performing arts commissions, new works, planned performances, and advanced degree scholarships and stipends.

TO LOCATE THAT FUNDING from direct corporate sources rather than foundations, grant givers, government agencies, or other charitable sources, so that funding for the creative performing arts actually increases.

TO BUILD MORE NETWORKS of astute professional people, companies, and nonprofit organizations that know the value of customer, community, and political recognition for providing pro bono services to performing artists.

TO PROVIDE OUR OWN PRO BONO SUPPORT to performing artists whenever we can, for example marketing, financial counseling, fiscal agency services, and general business advice.

TO OFFER CORPORATE SPONSORS BROAD BRAND RECOGNITION for their commitment to performing arts generally, and especially for empowering women and men with greater self-confidence and self-respect.
