The Emily Shane Foundation

Our nonprofit charity's SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) Program empowers underserved, disadvantaged middle school students in the mainstream classroom who are at risk of academic failure. Our unique educational initiative, the SEA (Successful Educational Achievement) Program, pairs students with a dedicated mentor/tutor to provide them with intensive and individualized academic tutoring and mentorship. We only serve students who could not otherwise afford this much needed support. To date, we have made a difference in the lives of over 1000 children across Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Embracing our "Pass it Forward" motto, each student is requested to perform one good deed or act of kindness per session. We aim to foster social consciousness and kindness in the world.
