Sustainable Business Ventures

Founded in 2009, the mission of Sustainable Business Ventures (SBV) is to help difficult-to-employ individuals create their own jobs through self-employment. SBV seeks to empower and inspire hope in individuals and families in poverty to embark upon a new path of taking steps to earn a living by starting their own business. Difficult-to-employ individuals include those that are ex-offenders; those that have struggled with drug or alcohol problems; and individuals living in rural communities like eastern Kentucky where there are very few jobs available.
