Marblehead for Teens

Marblehead for Teens is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to encourage the positive individual and social development of Marblehead teens. One of the major initiatives of Marblehead for Teens (MFT) is to create and operate a teen-managed, adult-supervised teen center for Marblehead youth Grades 9 through 12. Marblehead teens will be served by a dedicated, physically-separate space that welcomes them on their own terms and with no specific agenda; that allows them to be themselves and have fun in a casual, non-threatening environment free of alcohol and drugs; and that introduces in them the capacities to handle life’s challenges with resilience and success. In addition to the physical center, a “center without walls” will provide youth with the resources and guidance and empowerment to themselves initiate and manage structured social activities in the areas that interest them, in which they and their peers can participate.
