The Road Warrior Foundation, formed in December 2013, focuses on utilizing powersports and adventure as a form of therapy for veterans. This approach, known as "adventure therapy," is designed to challenge veterans and put them back in control, aiding their recovery and helping them overcome daily challenges. The foundation was started by Steve Berger and Craig Anders, who met at the Air Force Academy in 1997. Their shared experiences and desire to help fellow service members led to the creation of the foundation. They emphasize low overhead to ensure that resources directly benefit veterans.
