Center for Strategic Community Innovation (CSCi)
About Us
Launched in 2009, the Center for Strategic Community Innovation (CSCi) is a non-profit intermediary that builds the capacity of communities, schools, human service systems, and families to create the necessary conditions for health, education, and prosperity, thereby achieving a more equitable and just society. A fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives, CSCi was founded by the Principals of Hatchuel Tabernik & Associates, a consulting firm with over two decades of experience helping non-profit human service organizations fulfill their missions and maximize their impact.
CSCi identifies, tests and applies evidence-based methods at the intersection of service systems, including health, social services, juvenile justice, public education, and community development in identified communities. CSCi provides capacity-building services that support CBOs, school districts and other public agencies in low-income Bay Area communities to achieve positive outcomes for children, families, and whole neighborhoods.
