Roots to Freedom is a grassroots nonprofit based in Washington, DC. Our mission is to promote and teach the study of African & African Diaspora life, history, and culture, through education and mentorship in order to empower African youth & young adults to realize their full potential. We are passionate about raising the level of consciousness by diverse methods in order to effect positive change in our cultural community.
