About Us

Affiliation: Faith-based, nonprofit organization rooted in Catholic tradition

Motto: Opening the Door to Independence

Size of Program: Providence House serves 7 families and 9 to 15 children (depending on the number of children per family). Our staff consist of a full-time facility manager who lives on campus, a case manager, and the executive director. Each mom is paired with a mentor-coach (a trained volunteer).

Goal of Program: Providence House is committed to helping motivated single women, with young children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, overcome the barriers to a life of dignity through our supportive transitional housing and self-sufficiency program.

Our services are a blend of resources and relationships aimed at fostering life-transformation in a vibrant faith-based environment to help program participants improve their employment, nurture their soul, cope with the challenges of daily living, and successfully raise their children. As a community, we are dedicated to strengthening family life and dignity.
