    Tenn-Share is a Tennessee multi-type library consortium organized as a 501(c)(3). We have 621 member libraries including 65 academic, 113 public, 421 school and 22 special libraries. Our programs are supported by dues, administrative fees for services, and sponsorships. Tenn-Share serves its member libraries by negotiating discounts, supporting collaborative projects, and advocating for libraries.

    Mission: Tenn-Share helps Tennessee libraries deliver efficient, effective library services through group purchasing power and innovative resouce sharing projects.

    Vision: All Tennesseans will have a better quality of life through access to information resources needed to live, learn, govern and work.

    Core Values and Guiding Principles:

    1. Equitable access: commitment to open and equitable access to information
    2. Share your stuff: dedication to providing leadership for all Tennessee libraries in resource sharing
    3. Equitable funding: commitment to the belief that tax funds should be sufficient to support good library services
