    The Association for Demand Response & Smart Grid (ADS) is a nonprofit organization, originally formed as the Demand Response Coordinating Committee (DRCC) in 2004. ADS is an organization designed to build a community of professionals and organizations involved in demand response and smart grid. Its mission is to facilitate the identification and development of information and to share that information, as well as expertise, among policymakers, utilities, technology companies, and stakeholders. It accomplishes its mission through activities such as reports, webinars and events such as the organization’s National Town Meeting on Demand Response and Smart Grid
