At Legacy International, we believe that the most effective and sustainable solutions come from strong civil society and social innovators. Since 1979, Legacy International equips emerging leaders to transform their values and vision into sustainable success. Training professionals in for–profit and non–profit sectors with an emphasis on creating new employment opportunities and supporting critical social ventures is a foundation for all programming. Legacy staff and its Teams of Excellence (TM) design customized training programs that increase the potential for success and foster values of social entrepreneurship.

Annually we train over 300 individuals who generate community impact projects improving services and lives across the globe. Over time, this human investment grows and expands as the lifelong commitment to social innovation is seeded during exchanges and immersive trainings.

Legacy has responded to emerging global needs since 1979 with four types of initiatives:

• Leadership Development & Organizational Capacity-Building
• Community and Regional Development
• Peace Building, Pluralism & Conflict Resolution
• Civil Society Development

Legacy has completed projects with partners on five continents, and worked with non-profit, government, and civic leaders and with youths from more than 110 nations. Working groups, training programs, conferences and events have occurred in US and over 17 countries.
