Mission The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) is the frontline law firm for low-income people in Los Angeles. LAFLA is committed to promoting access to justice, strengthening communities, fighting discrimination, and effecting systemic change through representation, advocacy, and community education.
To achieve our mission, LAFLA's expert team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff work in the community in a variety of ways: Counsel clients Advocate for clients before courts, agencies, and elected officials Represent community based organizations Provide community education through workshops and seminars
