St. Patrick Catholic Community

St. Patrick Catholic Community: Christian Disciples in Mission. That's our mission statement, and we believe it describes what we are about. St. Patrick's is a community founded on five pillars: Hospitality, Stewardship, Social Justice, Formation and Liturgy. Our liturgical worship draws us in as community, and sends us forth as servants to the world and witnesses to the presence of Christ.

Our social mission, then, is one of compassionate, caring, relationship with our neighbor, both locally and globally. With God as the priority in our lives, concern for our neighbor’s lack of basic needs is our mission. However, our response should not simply be one of charity. We must reach out in relationship with those we assist, which can then lead to systemic change and “right” justice. Our parish commits both energy and resources to bring about justice in response to what the church teaches and the Gospel calls us to.

All are invited, whether members of St. Patrick's or not, and no matter what faith affiliation you have or do not have, to be a part of our social mission. Whether we are involved in Hikes for the Homeless, support for foster families, outreach and care for refugees, advocacy for legislative changes where necessary, global solidarity and peace-building, or much more, everyone is welcome. We treasure hospitality as a core value, and our doors are always open.
