GLocal Literacy Foundation

Glocal Literacy Foundaton supports education for those in difficult circumstances. We support both print and visual literacy. We work primarily in Hawaii, the Philippines, and Viet Nam. We are partnering with an English Language School, STEC, in Hoi An Viet Nam. English is the gateway language to opportunities for further education and career options. We also share book resources to build family libraries in Hawaii. In partnership with Campbel High School and Youth Service Hawaii, GLocal Literacy is beginning our fourth year providing literacy and art activities for Onemalu Transitional Center in Barber's Point Hawaii. Every summer teachers and students from Hawaii travel to Viet Nam and work in the government preschools and elementary schools providing enrichment in art, music, and English.
