About Us
DreamCatchers
- We help close the opportunity gap for socioeconomically disadvantaged students in an otherwise high-performing school district during the most crucial years of a child’s education.
- We provide middle school students and their families in the Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD) with individualized mentoring, after-school tutoring, academic and social-emotional support for their entire middle school careers, readying them for high school.
- High school and college students tutor the middle school students.
- Since 2008, DreamCatchers has provided over 50,000 hours of free, after-school academic support and mentorship for students who commit to the program from 6th through 8th grade.
The DreamCatchers three-year program places a strong emphasis on high school readiness and community building.
